Some sort of solar-energy project at the York Regional Solid Waste Authority is exhibiting to be a win-win, according to company associates.

The old landfill at last features athletic fields, a god's gifts to earth habitat, youth playgrounds, walking path ways and a picnic pavilion.
Those components fit in with the authority's strategy to reduced waste, reuse, recycle and locate resources, authority officials said.
